The Founder.

David Carruthers holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong and has also completed studies in accountancy at TAFE. As a Justice of the Peace, David brings both formal qualifications and a strong sense of community service to his work.

With over 30 years of financial expertise gained from his extensive career with one of Australia’s largest banks (NAB), David has developed a deep understanding of both retail and business banking. His firsthand experience within major banking institutions inspired him to take a more personal approach—offering private, professional, and friendly financial consultations, always putting clients first.

David’s dedication to helping individuals and businesses save and succeed has been a driving force behind the impressive growth of Carruthers Financial Services. He remains committed to providing expert advice, genuine support, and tailored solutions for every client.
